BlueBerry Cobbler

Now I want to preface this by saying I am not a, “sweet tooth” kinda gal. I rarely, if ever, order dessert. Let alone make it. I’m very a chocolate chip cookie and banana bread type of mom. Other than that I don’t spread my wings in terms of dessert baking. I mean, I’ll do a birthday cake- duh. But it’s going to be confetti box cake and homemade cream cheese frosting. But let me tell YOU! This Blueberry cobbler is so unbelievably delicious… and I don’t even like blueberry pie. Heck, I don’t even like pie in general. So the fact that I stood over my stove and immediately had the equivalent of 2 servings of this should tell you something.

I don’t know about you but my kids either eat the entire clam shell of blueberries the second they enter the house… or they refuse to even touch them. It’s very hit ot miss. And since we are frequent customers of the big box stores (ahem… love you long time Costco). It means sometimes I have a whole lotta blueberries that are either going to hang out in my fridge until they mold OR I need to find a use for. Enter BlueBerry Cobbler. I love this recipe because cobblers seem like such a past time, I never get one unless I’m eating at someone’s grandparents house and that isn’t exactly a regular occasion. It’s such a fun unexpected surprise for a dinner party, and served with vanilla ice cream, an instant, guaranteed hit.

This isn’t your run of the mill recipe that’s kinda good and I just wanted to make a post. I wouldn’t do that to you. I’ve been the victim too many times of the pretty Pinterest post and the actual meal was dry and terrible. I have to say about 9/10 times I dislike any recipe I find that originated on Pinterest. This recipe I STAND BY. I will make this again and again. And it’s sooooo easy…

*You can even use frozen blueberries
